About Reliable Contractors

The Reliable Group is a family run business which has been supplying staff to the construction and Rail industries for over Forty years.

Since the Company was formed, our staff have been involved in some of the countries largest and most challenging Construction and Rail Projects with "Reliable" being recognised as one of the leading Labour Suppliers to the Construction Industry in the South East. Our commitment to safety and quality has helped to establish us as the preferred supplier to many of the country's leading Construction Companies. These Companies include BAM Nuttall, Carillion, Balfour Beatty, Vinci, and the Kier Group.

Our strength as a Company are in the relationships that we have built up with our clients over the years. The confidence and trust that has been established by our staff comes from their knowledge of the industry as well as from the quality of service that we can provide.

In 2005 we set up a separate company called "Reliable Rail" to attract clients who require the additional benefits of a link-up approved organisation. This has also helped us become flexible with regard to labour supply on projects such as the Channel Tunnel Rail Link where there were interfaces between civil construction sites and Network Rail infrastructure. Also in 2006 we were invited into the East London Line upgrade and we supplied numerous rail based skills as diverse as Managers, loco drivers, shunters, ancillary and track personnel

Our aim is to be the quality provider of labour to long-term Civil Engineering and Rail projects in the south of England. We endeavour to provide a good, safe working environment for our staff and to have teams working with the top Construction Companies on long-term projects. In addition, we wish to have a profitable partnership with all of our staff by supplying a fully trained and highly skilled workforce to our clients.

In today's competitive market place, survival and success depend on the Company's ability to satisfy all of our client requirements whilst continually improving the effectiveness and efficiency of our internal processes. To this end, we have successfully achieved registration to the

ISO 9001:2000 standard as well as becoming the first labour supplier in the South East of England to achieve Investors in People status.
